Matchbox Paper Roses SSC#031

Hi Stampers!  It's Thursday again, and that means another challenge with our group of demonstrators :)  Today's inspiration is the song Paper Roses by Marie Osmond.  We can get inspiration from the song or the album cover.  Check out how young Marie is...ahhhhh, the 70's :)

I was experimenting with my  punches, and actually made this flower using the 5 Petal Flower Punch (119880).  To learn how to make paper flowers check out my tutorial here.

The box was made using the Matchbox Die (114890) and I embossed the cover using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder  (119976)Both were achieved using my Big Shot Die Cutting Machine (113439).  Also used in this project is the stamp set, Tiny Tags (w 118091 c 118952) and the Jewelry Tag Punch (117190).  The branch is from the 2 Step Bird Punch (117191), and Old Olive Taffeta Ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stamping!

Laurie,

Super cute! Thanks for the flower tutorial. Did you cut the lid first, then emboss it or vice versa?
